~Check into new model rental vehicle in Anchorage - vehicle provided with unlimited miles~

~Drive the beautiful Seward Highway from Anchorage to Seward (approx. 2 hour drive) ~

~Take a tour of a historic Girdwood gold mine and try your luck at gold panning ~

~Ride the Mt Alyeska Tram to enjoy a scenic lunch ~

~Visit a wildlife conservation center to view resident wildlife and Musk Ox ~

~Explore the small bayside village of Seward- the gateway to the Kenai Fjords National Park ~

~ Day 2

~Have breakfast at Bed and Breakfast * ~

~All day cruise in Kenai Fjords National Park aboard a comfortable 20 passenger

vessel for up close encounters with wildlife and glaciers ~

~ Day 3

~Have breakfast at Bed and Breakfast * ~

~Visit the Alaska Sealife Center - take a behind the scencs tour with a local naturalist~

~Drive back up the Kenai Peninsula to Girdwood (1.5 hour drive)

~Enjoy wildlife viewing and day hiking at Tern Lake and Skilak Lake ~

~ Visit the historic ghost town of Hope~ -Have late lunch or dinner at a cafe in Hope~

~ Explore Portage Glacier and visit Prince William Sound ~

~ Day 4

~Have breakfast at Bed and Breakfast * ~

~ Start driving north from Girdwood to Talkeetna (approx. 3 hour drive) ~

~Visit Potter Marsh, enjoy bird watching and salmon viewing ~

~Tour the Alaska Native Heritage Center ~Listen to Native Story Telling and Dancers

as they share their heritage and culture~

~Visit Athabascan "Spirit Houses" on a tour with a local native guide ~

~ Enjoy day hiking and wildlife viewing at Eagle River and Nancy Lake ~

~ Day 5

~Have breakfast at Bed and Breakfast * ~

~Take a one hour flight-seeing tour of Mt. McKinley and the Alaska Range ~

~Explore the history of Talkeetna on a walking tour and visit the local museum~

~Pick up picnic lunch at the historic Talkeenta Roadhouse ~

~Ride the Alaska Railroad on a flag-stop train to the homestead community of Hurricane ~

~Drive from Talkeetna to Denali (approx. 2 hour drive)

~ Day 6

~Have breakfast at Bed and Breakfast * ~

~Pick up a picnic backpack lunch for your day in Denali National Park~

~Spend the day viewing wildlife and exploring Denali National Park ~

~Ride the Shuttle Bus to Wonder Lake in Denali National Park ~

Tour price is $1,695 per person based on double occupancy - please refer to reservation details for tour prices on children and additional adults. Tour price does not include tour tax.
