~Check into a new model rental vehicle in Anchorage - with unlimited miles~

~Travel down the Kenai Peninisula from Anchorage to Seward (approx. 2 hour drive) ~

~Enjoy a visit to a local historic family owned Girdwood gold mine- try your luck at goldpanning ~

~Ride the Mt Alyeska Tram to enjoy a scenic lunch "on the top" ~

~ Take a three hour kayaking tour of Resurrection Bay (no experience necessary) ~

~Seward lodging provided~

~ Day 2

~Have breakfast at Bed and Breakfast * ~

~All day cruise in Kenai Fjords National Park aboard a comfortable 20 passenger vessel

for up close encounters with wildlife and glaciers ~

~Lunch and snacks included on Kenai Fjords wildlife tour ~

~Seward lodging provided ~

~ Day 3

~Have breakfast at Bed and Breakfast * ~

~Tour the Alaska Sealife Center ~

~Visit Exit Glacier ~ Day hike close to the Harding Icefield ~

~ Ride behind a sleddog team with a local dogmusher -

~Drive from Seward to Girdwood (approx 1.5 hour drive) ~

~Have lunch at a local cafe in Hope- an Alaskan ghost town~

~ Day 4

~Have breakfast at Bed and Breakfast * ~

~ Start driving north from Girdwood to Sheep Mountain (approx. 3 hour drive) ~

~Visit Potter Marsh, enjoy bird watching and salmon viewing ~

~Tour the Alaska Native Heritage Center ~Listen to Native Story Telling and Dancers

as they share their heritage and culture~

~Visit Athabascan "Spirit Houses" on a tour with a local native guide ~

~Sheep Mountain lodging provided~

~ Day 5

~Have breakfast at Bed and Breakfast * ~

~ Take a guided glacier hike on the Matanuska Glacier (all gear provided) ~

~ Day hike and view wildlife at Sheep Mountain Dall Sheep Preserve~

~Drive from Sheep Mountain to Talkeetna (approx 2.5 hour drive) ~

~After arriving into Talkeetna enjoy dinner at a local gourmet cafe~

~ Day 6

~Have breakfast at Bed and Breakfast * ~

~Take a one hour flight-seeing tour of Mt. McKinley and the Alaska Range ~

~Pick up picnic lunch at the historic Talkeenta Roadhouse ~

~Ride the Alaska Railroad on a flag-stop train to the homestead community of Hurricane ~

~Drive from Talkeetna to Denali (approx. 2 hour drive)

~Denali area lodging provided ~

Tour price is $1,795 per person based on double occupancy - please refer to reservation details for tour prices on children and additional adults. Tour price does not include tour tax.

Breakfast is included with all B&B Lodging; breakfast may not be included with motels, private cabins or lodges. *

Tour price includes all events listed, all day tours, all transfers, all meals listed, lodging, rental vehicles include unlimited mileage, lodging is provided at either a Bed and Breakfast, Private Cabin, Alaskan Lodge, or Motel. Tour price is subject to availability of lodging.
